Hanna-Barbera’s Megillah Gorilla may never have escaped his pet store home permanently, but he was always being purchased by Persian viziers for various acts of genocide. Inevitably, before the end of each 11-minute segment, Megillah would find himself back in the shop window, eating up all of Mr. Peebles’ hamantaschen.
