Following the death of spokesman Orson Welles, Paul Masson wines ran an unsuccessful animated ad campaign featuring an unscrupulous “Champagne Shyster” who attempts to sell Masson’s wine before its time. His schemes are perpetually foiled by a ragtag group of lovable, doe-eyed street urchins.
